Kite Sports is the company behind the hurlóg™
Back in 2009, founder Ciara Fitzgerald (Primary Teacher), identified a gap in the market for sports toys with the younger child in mind.
With the assistance of an innovation voucher from Enterprise Ireland the hurlóg was developed. It is now the starter hurl for children from age one to five.
The hurlóg™ is both educational and fun, assisting in developing the hand-eye coordination from the moment they can grab. It is stocked in all good toy and sports shops throughout Ireland and available online for delivery worldwide.
Ciara is supported by her father Christy who runs Kite Sport and will be your point of contact.
YAP Ireland
Youth Advocate Programmes Ireland (YAP Ireland) is a leading provider of intensive support programmes for young people and families. The yap model is a unique way of providing intensive, focused support to children, young people and families with a range of needs. Established in 2002, we provide services in 21 counties and have a team of 135 full and part time staff. Annually we work with approximately 500 young people and families. We provide intensive Support, Crisis Intervention, Family Support, Aftercare and Disability services for TUSLA and the HSE. We also provide Independent Advocacy services in Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient Units for CHAMS in CHO West and for St. John of Gods and St. Patricks Hospital in Dublin..
