Job Specification

What we are seeking:

We are currently seeking an Accounts Administrator to help support the existing Accounts Manager. Working closing with the Accounts Manager, the Accounts Administrator will have responsibility for a variety of accounting administrative tasks across the organisation.

The main responsibilities will be as follows

  • Assist Accounts Manager with administration duties as required
  • Creditors – Reconciling POs/Invoices/Deliveries with accurate filing
  • Debtors – Liaise with various organisational departments to ensure timely billing
  • HR – Monitor and maintain employee holiday entitlements
  • Payroll – Ensure timely filing of all employee timesheets
  • Record Keeping – Developing and maintaining filing systems for various areas of Accounts

·Experience with Accounting packages

·Ability to work independently

·Strong ability to use PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

·Ability to be flexible & work as part of a team

·Energy, enthusiasm, and ambition

·Willingness to participate in training & development

·Reside in local area

·Understanding of the Charitable Sector

·Understanding and/or experience with public procurement

·Understanding and/or experience with grant aided funds

·Understanding and/or National/European funding streams

·Full drivers’ licence/personal transport

·Occupational First Aid

·Manual handling
